Who is Froggy Cakes?

Froggy Cakes are just two of the gazillions of affectionate names we have for our children, Emma and Grayson.  If you are reading this blog then you probably already knew that.  If you didn't, let me explain.  After Emma was born I don't think we called her by her real name for an entire year.  The moment she was born I started calling her babycakes, and Ben being an engineer and keen on simple solutions, shortened it to Cakes.  Emma was our tiny precious little Cake (and still is).

And Froggy?  When we found out I was pregnant again the big question was what kind of pastry would our new baby be?  Yes, I did say that was the BIG question.  Emma was already a cake, so would our new one be an eclair?  A pie?  A cupcake?  As it turns out he was none of the above.  On my first ultrasound it was clear, he was definitely a little froggy.  He had the "froggiest" looking baby legs I have ever seen.  Actually, to me he looked like a frog wrapped in a burrito, but that is another story!

So now that you know Froggy and Cakes, I will get on with it and begin to chronicle their stories!
