Today is the day that we all pause to reflect on on the things in our lives that we are thankful for. For me and Daddy it is a long list. We are thankful for our children, our family, our friends, our health, our jobs...I could go on and on. But what about the kids? I wondered most what my toddler would be thankful for.
For my little frog it is easy. Here is his list:
Mommy (because she feeds me)
Daddy (because he feeds me)

Cakes' list I imagined would look like this:
Dora
Bubble Guppies
Her fairy dress
Her favorite blanket
Her babydolls and animals
Juice
Lollipops
It turns out I was totally wrong. When asked what she was thankful for she said "Mommy, Daddy, and baby brother." My heart melted. What a sweet, wonderful girl. So, I gave her what I knew she wanted more than anything...an extra episode of Dora.
