Grayson the artist and Emma the frog

Recently my kids have decided to switch bodies.  Emma is the artist in the family and Grayson, well, as you know he is our little frog.  So imagine our surprise when I got to school and saw this:

It is probably hard to tell from the pictures, but Grayson was actually enjoying his art!  Not that I am imagining him as the next Monet, but I was proud of our little frog.  As I said before, Emma is the artist in the family.

So, back to the whole switching bodies thing.  I did not suspect anything seriously strange was going on until today when I saw this:

Emma has turned into a frog!  Ribbit, ribbit, ribbit!  Okay, so there are a couple of bunny hops in there too, but it is almost Easter, so that makes sense.  This happened at the pediatrician today, and for some reason I didn't think to ask the doctor if my children have switched bodies and if this is unusual for siblings.  Maybe I will call about that now...

We are back! Did you miss us?

After a bit of a break The Chronicles of Froggy cakes is back in action!  The rugrats have been just as entertaining as always so I have lots to share, and lets just say that I now have more time on my hands to tell their story.  So what has been going on with my little Frog and little Cake.  Lots and lots!
Froggy is now 9 months old, I have no idea how that happened but there it is.  I could probably devote several posts to all the things they have each been doing in the last few months, but here is a summary for little Frog:

- Crawling on all fours
- Pulling up on everything
- Cruising on the furniture and toys
-"Walking" with the help of push toys
- Eating finger food (mmm...avocado)
- Getting teeth (he now has 2 tiny front teeth)
- Playing games (catch, hide and seek, tag, and of course peek-a-boo)
- Had tubes put in his ears to help with his many, many ear infections
- Sleeping through the night (unless he is teething or has an ear infection, which is most of the time!)

I could go on and on...

                                          Grayson really likes this tricycle!

How about Emma cakes?  She has been super busy too!

- She turned 3 and had a big birthday party
- She is 100% potty trained (no more pullups, not even at night)
- She has invented several new and creative games including Ball Pit Mommy, Meeow Meeow, and Monster baby brother (Monster Daddy is still her favorite).  Trash Bag Mommy is definitely her least favorite.
Butterfly face!

- Started dance lessons (she has become quite the ballerina)
- Started her own garden (her basil is growing and we are still waiting on the blueberries and grapes)
- Went to the movie theater for the first time.  She has seen The Lorax twice!
- Had her hair straightened (she looked amazing, but of course she will always be our curly haired girl)
- Learned the words and moves to the pepto bismol song (definitely my proudest moment as a mom).

                             Straight Hair!!

Froggy and Cakes playing, look at her straight hair!

                                           The Pepto Bismol song!!!

One of my favorite videos.  I love the Silliness!

With all this activity going on, both kids have still managed to find time for each other.  I am happy to say they are still best friends!
